APP PRIVACY POLICY

Shift Duty

Information about this app’s data, advertising and your choices.

Effective date: 25 October 2026 · Version 1.2.1 (21).

Provider and contact

Shift Duty is provided by Shri Ji App Studio. Contact Shrijiappstudio@gmail.com for support or privacy questions.

Your work records

Your optional name, preferences, attendance, notes, salary settings, effective pay rates, advances, salary received, shift plans, punch timestamps, manual paid hours, Half/Full Day choices and breaks are stored on your device. No account is required. The app does not upload these entered records to a developer-operated server or intentionally send them to advertising SDKs. Punch In/Out is a personal work record, not employer verification. No GPS tracking is added.

Advertising

The app retains Google Mobile Ads/AdMob, User Messaging Platform and the supplied Meta Audience Network mediation adapter. Advertising providers may process IP addresses, approximate location, device/advertising identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Requests depend on consent, availability and provider approval. These systems are separate from locally entered work records.

An optional rewarded ad unlocks the selected PDF report after the reward is earned. The frozen report and its unlock are kept locally until saving succeeds or you discard it, so a canceled/failed save can be retried without another ad. The former 30-minute reward button is removed; previously earned active ad-free timestamps remain valid until expiry. You can access available ad privacy choices in Settings and device ad controls.

Provider information: Google Privacy Policy, Google advertising, Meta Privacy Policy. Provider retention and deletion follow their own policies.

Reports, backup and sharing

You choose where to save a PDF through Android's document picker, or which app receives a CSV report or JSON backup. A backup includes locally saved records/settings and may include a running shift. A report includes the selected period and personal estimates. Selected destinations handle shared files under their own practices. Protect exported files because they may contain earnings and work notes. Restore reads a selected JSON file and replaces current records only after confirmation.

Reminders

Optional daily reminders use local inexact Android alarms and notification permission where required. They check locally whether today's duty is missing; no reminder server is used. Android settings may delay delivery. The alternative Calendar button opens your chosen Calendar app, which handles any event and possible cloud sync under its own settings.

Storage, deletion and permissions

Data remains in app-local storage until you remove entries, replace data through restore or clear/uninstall the app. Native app backup is disabled; keep a manual backup before changing phones. Uninstalling does not remove files you exported elsewhere. The app uses network access for advertising, notification permission for optional reminders, and reboot broadcasts to reschedule them. File selection/save and sharing use user-selected Android system interfaces rather than broad storage permission. No location permission, exact-alarm special access or background location service is added.

Estimates and changes

Salary figures are estimates for recorded days under the user's chosen rules. Automatic or manually selected Half Day, Full Day and No Pay categories affect estimates, and changed rules can recalculate earlier timed records. Estimates exclude PF, ESI, taxes and employer deductions. They are not official payslips or payment processing. Changes to the app's practices should be reflected in the published policy and release declarations.
